Recently, we talked about the importance of learning how to use the /BM or Battlemode function when playing Ragnarok Online on a level that is higher than the regular F1-F9 hotkey users. We also learned that we could be sacrificing some of our in-game chat time to use BM. However, if your goal is to own the PVP room that you’re in and not to chat, learning BM will be beneficial.

We are going to talk about the basics of BM usage and it’s up to you to apply it on your armor switching, potion toggling and skill spamming. Develop your own style and strive to achieve perfection!

Here are the main principles of Battlemode (command /bm):

The F1-F9 in your keyboard corresponds to ONE set of hotkeys.
You can have up to 3 sets of hotkeys. The first one is your default (the regular F1-F9); The second one you can access by pressing F12 once. And the third one you can access by pressing F12 twice.

• The first F12 corresponds to 9 keys of your keyboard starting from “Z”
• The second one starts from ‘Q’
• And, the third one starts from ‘A’
