How to Change From Acolyte to a Priest

Acolyte Level Requirement: Job level 40-50, max acolyte job level requirement is extremely RECOMMENDED as you will need every skill point to increase the functionality of your acolyte skills.

STEP I: In Prontera Church, turn left and look for High Priest Bishop Tomas (prt_church 16, 41).

• One advantage for those who persisted up to level 50, he will warp you directly to Father Peter.
• If you didn’t reach job level 50, you will need to go on a pilgrimage and visit 3 priests: Father Rubalkabara at prt_fild03 (365, 259), Mother Mathilda at moc_fild07 (36, 354) [should be priestess don’t ya think?] and Father Yosuke at prt_fild00 (208, 218)

STEP II. When you have spoken to all 3, go back to Father Thomas and he’ll warp you to Father Peter to start the next part of the test.

In the waiting room, you may click the chat box of Father Peter to start. Or click on him for the test instructions. There are 3 parts to this test.

• In the first part, you have to kill via heal bomb or weapon all the zombies in the room. Easy enough eh?
• In the second part, you will be introduced to a Boss Monster NPCs (Dark Lord, Baphomet, etc), Every one of these will seduce you to get you to the dark side, promising power, minion-hood and what-not. You have to resist the temptation.
• Choose the line that tells the message “Devil, Go Away” for most parts. Remember that If you say yes to them, you will be warped back to do the second test again.
• After the Faith test (temptations of the acolyte), you will be warped to a room where mummies abound. Do not stop to kill them as this isn’t required, just run to the exit as fast as you can.

Note 1. A total of 5 minutes is allotted to pass all three rooms.

Note 2. You are allowed to bring a chaperone, another player wielding a priest to get through the zombie and mummy rooms. Your friend must talk to Father Thomas. The requirement for this is an unslotted rosary in the inventory.

STEP III. Talk to Sister Cecile located at prt_church (27, 24)

Put on your goody hat and answer all questions as a priest with a pure heart would. Any wrong answer will bring you to the start of the question and answer portion. After this you must go see Father Thomas for your final induction

Quest Rewards

Besides changing to the most useful character in all of Ragnarok Online, you will be given a Bible[2] (for level 50 job changers only) or a Book[3].
