The Patented Alchemist Build: Ana Astalia Lunaris Prototype
Contributed by SniperAngel in cooperation with Alessa Silver
I can still remember those days when Juno was launched- 2-2 Job Classes are finally available. The Crusader and Monk testing areas are so congested as well as the Sage exam room. When I went to the Alchemist guild in Aldebaran it was almost deserted and I only saw few players there. The main reason behind this flop is the nerfing-right-before-implementing skills of the said class, it was stated before that the homunculus should be implemented in Juno but it was later cancelled out of the skill tree.

But look at Alchemists now, you can find one anywhere- at towns, at MVP spawn points, everywhere. The population boom started when Acid Bomb, a Biochemist skill brought the house down and grinded it into bits.
Am I ranting? No. There’s nothing we can do about it. In fact I’m going to share a build which was already proven safe and effective, just like your moisturizing cream. This build has been running for about a year now. What makes it special? Well, how about starting as an Alchemist and transcending into a Biochemist as fast as five weeks? Unattainable?
Honestly at first I thought it was. Not until the prototype was put into materialization. Starting from a 12/10 Novice to a 60/1 Biochemist it did took 36 days, or 5 weeks and 1 day.
Got your attention? Stay for my suggestions for the alchemist build that will get you to being a Biochemist faster than you expected. Whether via bot or manually.
The Build
• The build is with job and equipment bonuses already. Sure, it does have low HP [Alchemists have lower HP multiplier than your Assassin or Knight] but having low HP doesn’t mean high mortality.
• The build won’t be able to contend with hardcore brewers, but it can brew enough potions to be able to survive in the field.
• The build isn’t as sturdy as the classic tank types, because the goal here is speed levelling for transcendence. If you have a different goal then this is not the guide for you. [But we’ll make one for that ^^]
The Stats
Strength- 81+4[Crazy Uproar]+5[Alchemist Job Bonus]= 90
Agility- 84+6[Alchemist Job Bonus]= 90
Vitality- 37+3[Alchemist Job Bonus]= 40
Intelligence- 17+7[Alchemist Job Bonus]= 24
Dexterity- 51+9[Alchemist Job Bonus]= 60
Luck- 3+0= 3
Stat Rationalization
As you can see the STR and AGI levels are equal. Why not max it out? Because maxing it out will compromise the build so much it won’t be that effective anymore. Who needs a build that dies faster than the time it takes to kill a thing?
INT is set to 24, just enough to establish good SP regeneration capability. The DEX is on above average distribution to amplify offensive capability and brewing success chance. Nevermind the LUK though.
Equipment
Another build feature is equipment autonomy. Dress the way you want and you won’t lose your effectiveness. Add more spice to the mix and you’ll enhance an already good character. Just equip the things you want to complement the build and you’re good to go.
Conclusion
This is just a suggestion and I’m not forcing you to use it. All we have here, together with the author of this site is to help aspiring Biochemists to reach their goals faster. Still, don’t hesitate to try new things- just like the basis of Alchemy.
