Stat Food Guide v1.0

Quest Guide and Recommendations

Requirements: Level 50 Character

Recommended: A character that can carry a cart. Preferably merchant class for the additional weight capacity. You will need: A Chef hat!

  • Go to Lutie. Talk to Titicupe Vending Machine Man at xmas 117,295 (exact coordinates)

Quest proper

1. Enter the Prontera Castle at the upper central part of Prontera. Just inside the first portal to your left (from Prontera map) is a room with three NPCs: Charles Orleans, Girl, and Madeleine Chu.

Talk to Madeleine Chu and tell her you want to learn how to cook. Madeleine will ask you to speak to her master. You will be asked to wear a chef hat.

2. Wearing the chef hat, talk to Charles by asking him if he remembers you. After talking to him, he will chose a random level 1 food to make. He will tell you the ingredients for this food, and you’ll need to bring them to him. After bringing him the required items, you will cook your first food item with him.
He’ll give you the food item that was created, and you need to keep this for the next steps.

3. Return to Madeleine. Madeleine will lend you her copy of Level 1 Cook book, and give you 10 outdoor cooking sets for training. Some other cooking set that’s available through this NPC is the Home Cooking Kit but you will not be able to buy these from her without completing the quest.

Using the level 1 cookbook (it needs to stay in your inventory), you’ll be able to make food items on your own. Double clicking a cooking kit will bring out the list of food items you can make, depending on the ingredients you have in your inventory. You will be asked to create one of each kind of level 1 food (Look in your cookbook for recipes by right clicking).

4. Once you’re done, show Madeleine your foodstuffs (note: you can use the one you created with Charles to save effort). Madeleine will put these in a package ask you to bring it to Payon. There is a former cooking student there who got disillusioned and is now selling rice cakes. Tell him that Madeleine sent you and give him the package. Chulsoo (209,127).

5. Return to Prontera and Madeleine will give you 10 home cooking sets. At this point, Madeleine will let you buy home cooking sets for 1000z. There are better quality cooking kits but these are monster drops.

Professional Cooking Kit: Miyabi Doll, Venatu, Orc Lady, Magnolia, Violy
Royal Cooking Kit: Dimik, Alice, Tengu, Alize
Fantastic Cooking Kit: Lady Tanee

Note: These result in better success rate and prevents the unnecessary wasting of ingredients!
